Description: PILATES is known for it's amazing ability to strengthen your core, improve back stability and create a long, lean, supple look to your body.  Clients move through a system of classical exercises lying face down, face up, sitting and standing.



PILATES MAT is just one component of the whole system of exercises that Pilates offers.  When you do Pilates on the Mat, you must support your body weight with gravity as resistance through the movements.  Small apparatus such as balls, rollers, rings, and bands may be used with various mat exercises.  Beginner Mat is open to all fitness levels focusing on the Pilates' principles of breathing, body positioning, and movement while learning the essential core exercises of the Pilates mat routine.
